Kindle Freebie! Moon Spell by Samantha Young

Ok, now this is just getting depressing. All my posts have been for Kindle Freebies... it just goes to show how school is ruining my reading life.... I have not read a book for 2 weeks. TWO! excluding Macbeth which is for... yep.. you guessed it. SCHOOL.

Now, I will still update with freebies and other juicy tidbits but my reviews will now become an endangered species.... but I will... i MUST post a review soon... I'll do it just to rebel against school and it's ickiness. So. This one is Moon Spell, which is the first book in the Tale of Lunamorte series by Samantha Young, who I had another freebie posted for several weeks back, Smokeless Fire, though that one's back to its original price now...

Enter a world of fierce wolves, stunning magic and romance...
It’s bad enough feeling different among the human crowd, but feeling different among wolves?

No one said returning to her pack would be easy, especially after ten years without them, but seventeen year old Caia Ribeiro is unprepared for the realities of the transition. Raised in a world where kids aren’t scared by bedtime tales of the bogeyman but by the real life threat of enemy supernaturals who might come creeping into their community to kill them in their sleep, Caia is used to the darkness; she’s used to the mystery and the intrigue of the ancient underworld war she’s bound to by chance of birth. What she’s having trouble with are pack members treating her with wary suspicion, the Elders tucking secrets behind their backs out of her sightline, and her young Alpha, Lucien, distracting her, with a dangerous attraction, from her decision to uncover the truth.

But as the saying goes ‘the truth will out’ and when it does, Caia will only have so long to prepare herself before the war comes pounding on their door threatening to destroy the safe, secret lives of the wolves… and the girl they protect.

-------------
you can get this here!! Yay.

-------------

In other news... I have won several books in the past week or so :) SQUEEE!!!! This I choose to take as a SIGN that the reading world wants me back! I normally never win anything... maybe once every two years... maybe... so this is all very sudden :)

Kindle Freebie! Chameleon by Cidney Swanson

Why hello there, another freebie already?
Well yes! Normally, I don't want my posts to just be of freebies (though they are pretty cool eh?) But this one is just too good to pass up. I assume that many of your would have downloaded Rippler when it was free? If not, stick around because it'll probably be free again (they tend to go in a cycle) and I'll let you know. And I'd recommend grabbing this anyway, you can always delete it :)
So here's your chance to grab the second book while it's available. It's extremely extremely likely that it won't be free for long so clicky click click!

Sixteen-year-old Samantha Ruiz has a lot on her mind. The crush who kissed her but changed his mind. The BFF who thinks Sam is in an abusive relationship. The geneticist who wanted Sam dead but now wants her ALIVE. And of course, Sam’s still dealing with a tendency to disappear into thin air.

When Sam learns of her nemesis Helmann’s Nazi-like plan to establish a Thousand-Year Reign, she’s determined to fight him. Along with Will and Mickie, Sam flees to France to meet Sir Walter—their best hope for stopping Helmann’s brave new world.

But Sam isn’t any safer in France. Someone is following her. Someone invisible. Sam will have to figure out how to hide from an enemy she can’t even see

I apologize if there's anything wrong with the blurb, I tried not to read it because I haven't read the first book, and I don't want it spoiled :)
Clicky click here! Til next time... mwahahahaha. I enjoy clogging up your phone/ reading app with books. I really do :)

Kindle Freebie! Dirty Blood by Heather Hildenbrand

Hello all,
I bring yet another freebie for you all. **yay** This one sounds brilliant! I love the blurb/ description, it really, really pulls you in. And, as per my usual routine, it is called Dirty Blood (intriguing title, oui?) and it's about wolves :) happy face.

I killed a girl last night. I did it with my bare hands and an old piece of pipe I found lying next to the dumpster. But that’s not the part that got me. The part that scared me, the part I can’t seem to wrap my head around and still has me reeling, was that when she charged me, her body shifted – and then she was a wolf. All snapping teeth and extended claws. But by the time I stood over her lifeless body, she was a girl again. That’s about the time I went into shock… And that was the moment he showed up.

Now, all I can do is accept the truths that are staring me in the face. One, Werewolves do exist. And two, I was born to kill them.

You want it eh? I told you sounded good!

I think we can all find the free reading apps, if not just refer to one my older posts.

Kindle Freebie! Farsighted by Emlyn Chand

Hello all! it's been a while since our last Freebie eh? Blogger has a new layout and I am (as always) very much confused... But all is good for I have mastered the art of finding the upload button :) And so, today's Freebie is Farsighted, I have no idea why I insist on announcing the name when the title states it very clearly with big curly font... but meh. Such is me.
Alex Kosmitoras's life has never been easy. The only other student who will talk to him is the school bully, his parents are dead broke and insanely overprotective, and to complicate matters even more, he's blind. Just when he thinks he'll never have a shot at a normal life, an enticing new girl comes to their small Midwest town all the way from India. Simmi is smart, nice, and actually wants to be friends with Alex. Plus she smells like an Almond Joy bar. Sophomore year might not be so bad after all. Unfortunately, Alex is in store for another new arrival—an unexpected and often embarrassing ability to "see" the future. Try as he may, Alex is unable to ignore his visions, especially when they suggest Simmi is in mortal danger. With the help of the mysterious psychic next door and friends who come bearing gifts of their own, Alex embarks on his journey to change the future.

So if you think it's interesting, click here to download.

oh. and if you still desperately need the reading apps, they're here

Kindle Freebie! Bloody Little Secrets by Karly Kirkpatrick

Yep, you guessed it. it's time for another Kindle Freebie! woohoo!
And so, it sounds interesting and all that. Remember to grab it while it's free. It's about vampires and while I personally don't have anything against vampires, I know there may be people out there who don't like reading about them. well have fun... I feel like I should have fine prints saying "enjoy responsibly" or something :)

17-year-old Vicky Hernandez has a big problem. She's dead. Or not quite. After discovering she's been turned into a vampire, she tries to settle into a quiet suburb of Chicago and return to a normal life.
If only she could stop wanting to bite her boyfriend. Not to mention she is dying to find out who turned her, and why. She doesn't have to wait long before they come to her.

Isn't that a short and sweet blurb?

Kindle Freebie! Revelations by Genevieve Pearson

Ok, I just want to say that the cover for this one is so awesome. I love it. It's fitting and awesomely awesome. you know. I mean, just LOOK at it. **Drools**
Yep. This one sounds really interesting, I've never read a book about the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse before, yes, I heard about books about them. But never actually read them... I'll be sure to post a review when I read this (in the very distant future).

When four seemingly über-cool college kids arrive in a small West Texas town, only one girl recognizes them for who they really are—the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Nineteen years old, a greeter at the local Smiley’s Supercenter, Kyrie’s been blessed with an uncommonly good intuition…and a few other abilities she’s been keeping secret.

Those abilities aren't enough to deal with the Horsemen, though, who bring with them a magnitude of evil Kyrie’s never seen before. Adding to the complications, her best friend has gone missing and Nate, her gorgeous but chronically deceptive ex-flame falls back in to her life, wanting to rekindle their old relationship. That can’t be a coincidence, can it? Then there’s Aaron, the oldest child in a family considered overly-religious even by Texas standards, who’s determined to help her whether she wants it or not. With boys, it seems, it’s either feast or famine. And of course they only want you when the world’s about to end.

As plagues descend on the tiny town, Kyrie finds herself facing down Death, Pestilence, Famine and War in a fight for the lives of everyone around her. But with myth becoming reality and discoveries are made that shake her to her core, she begins to waver in her conviction of right and wrong. Temptation waits in the dark of stormy Texas nights, and if Kyrie can’t find the will to fight any longer, the end of days are only just beginning

This may only be available for a short time, so grab it here.

This one sounds really, really good. And the gorgeous cover doesn't hurt ;P

Phoebe MacIntire, who is a servant to her father and sisters in her own house in Scotland in 1855, is an ordinary girl, with no big dreams for the future. She's perfectly happy in her humble life, with her cot in the basement and her little garden in the backyard. Overprotected by Jennifer Laurens

I've heard loads of stuff about this one... not going to say what... you'll have to read it yourself, oh it's apparently aimed at the teens or tweens so.. yeah... up to you. Though I have to say the guy on the cover looks very funny, weird, protective... **cough cough** :), I'm gonna have his face in my head when I read the book... hehehe... I know, I know. That's mean...
Any who, I just HAVE to put this out there, if you get this on Kindle right now you're saving $13.99. (that's the paperback price, it's $4.99 digital price)! I could buy 10 other kindle books using that money... I'm such a cheapskate. :)

I'm not sure if this is the actual blurb or not, I've been having trouble trying to find one... oh wells

Ashlyn:A lonely society princess living in NewYork City.
Daddy hired you to be my bodyguard.

Colin: Childhood enemy, now her protector.

Daddy thought I’d be safe. He thought I’d never fall in love. He thought he could keep me forever.

Charles: obsessed with keeping her safe, keeping her his, he hires the one person he knows she could never fall in love with: Colin.

Daddy was wrong.

A kidnapping leaves a father fanatical about his only child's safety. A story of obsessive love and the quest for independence.

Kindle Freebie! Forbidden Mind by Kimberly Kinrade

Today's freebie is Forbidden Mind, and guess what? This one caught my attention because of it's blurb! (see? I'm not that shallow) though I'll admit that I did click on the cover because it looked interesting, but it was the blurb that convinced me. honest :)

She reads minds.
He controls minds.
Together, they might get out alive.

Sam thinks she's months away from freedom. After spending her life in a secret school, rented out to the rich and powerful as a paranormal spy, she is ready to head to college like any normal eighteen-year-old.

Only Sam isn't normal. She reads minds. And just before her big going-away party, she links to the mind of a young man who changes everything.

Drake wasn't raised as a 'Rent-A-Kid.' He was kidnapped and taken there by force. But his exceptional physical strength and powers of mind control make him very dangerous, especially to Sam.

When they meet, Sam is forced to face the truth of her situation, and to acknowledge that not all is as it seems in her picture-perfect world. For what awaits her on her eighteenth birthday isn't a trip to college, but an unexpected nightmare from which she may not be able to escape.

To survive, they must work together.

But will their powers be enough to save them before it's too late?

Kindle Freebie! Poke by Dalya Moon

This one caught my attention through it's lovely cover design (hehe don't they always). So, Poke... The summary sounds like a short, fun read. Oh... there was a warning at the bottom of the summary that it's recommended for "older teens to adults (some mature content)" o_O
weeeeellllll... I haven't read it, so if you decide to take the risk, don't blame me if you read something that can never be unread :)

Zan is a teenage boy with a talent for discovering any girl’s secrets. If he asks a girl to poke her finger into his navel, he gets a psychic trip to Secret Town. Zan never likes what he finds.

When he meets mysterious, beautiful Austin, with her waist-length hair and mature laugh, he wants to get acquainted with her the slow way. Austin, however, can’t resist her curiosity, and when she pokes her finger into Zan’s belly button, he sees … nothing.

Austin dashes out of Zan’s house and out of his life, leaving Zan heartbroken and confused. To find peace, he must unravel the secret of his power. Is it a gift, or a curse? How can Zan love someone with no future? How can he not?

Poke is a fast-paced story about Zan's adventurous summer, as he battles witches, experiments with astral projection, and discovers the secret of his strange power, all to be with the girl he loves.

coolioes. here to download. again, if you're not "mature" (whatever that means :P) please don't decide to download this. I don't want to be responsible for scarring you for life.
And here for the reading apps... it's alright this link is completely all-age appropriate :)

Kindle Freebie! Glimpse by Stacey Wallace Benefiel

Another Kindle Freebie, I've decided that when I get wind of any goodies I'm just going to post the link here :)

So this one is for Glimpse by Stacey Wallace Benefiel.

Zellie Wells has a devastating crush on Avery Adams, the son of her mom’s high school sweetheart. At her sixteenth birthday party, held in the basement of her dad’s church, she finally finds the courage to talk to him. Turns out, the devastating crush is mutual.

As Avery takes her hand and leads her out onto the makeshift dance floor, Zellie is overwhelmed by her first vision of his death; shocking because not only are they both covered in his blood, but they’re old, like 35, and she is pregnant.

Afraid to tell anyone about the vision, (she’d just be labeled a freaky black magic witch, right?) Zellie keeps the knowledge of Avery’s future to herself and tries to act like any other teenager in love. When they get caught on their way to a secret rendezvous by her mom and his dad, they are forbidden to see each other.

Convinced that their parents are freaking out unnecessarily, Avery and Zellie vow to be together no matter what. They continue their relationship in secret until Zellie learns that their parents are just trying to prevent her and Avery from suffering like they did. The visions are hereditary, they’re dangerous, and if they stay together the visions will come true.

Now Zellie must choose between severing all ties with Avery, like her mom did to prevent his father’s death, and finding a way to change Avery’s future.
